All Amazing Birth and Beyond doulas agree to provide non-medical, physical, and emotional support and light household assistance after the birth of your baby.
A doula will be on-call for the birth of the Client’s baby beginning one (1) week prior to the baby’s due date. The doula will help the Client with self-recovery measures, give information on mother and baby care, help the Client to learn to care for and feed the new baby, cook breakfast and/or one other light nutritious meal a day, and offer basic household assistance, limited to grocery shopping, infant’s laundry, changing linens and dishwashing. The benefits of hiring a postpartum doula include reducing rates of postpartum depression, increasing breastfeeding, and increasing the overall wellbeing of new parents and infants.
Investment $40 per hour – minimum of 4 hours per day
