Alison Began working with Newborns as a professional over 20 years ago when she started her career as a live-in nanny for a newborn and toddlers. She found so much passion in her role as a nanny that she went to college and decided to make a career working with young children. She has studied Early childhood Education throughout her career. After being a nanny for over 10 years, she shifted her work to specialize in newborn care in 2015. Alison has completed Newborn care training through Gentle Ventures, as well as Newborn Care solutions. After working with mothers and newborns, Alison become very passionate about breastfeeding and received her lactation counselor certification in 2016. Alison continues her education through reading and professional development.
Alison is very passionate about supporting post Postpartum mothers and their babies after birth. She loves helping the mother bond with her baby and helping to support them in the journey of parenthood. Alison loves to work with the parents to create a loving, safe, and warm environment for the baby. Alison loves to work directly with the baby from the beginning to establish healthy sleep habits and environment. Alison is very Passionate about a healthy sleep environment and proving a safe and comfortable environment for the baby to sleep.
