Born in Brazil and living in a large family, Dayane grew up taking care of younger cousins since she was 14 years old. Her passion for babies led her to pursue a degree in Education and for over six years she worked as an Early Childhood teacher.
She moved to the United States in 2018 to participate in an International Cultural Exchange Program called Au Pair Extraordinaire, it is a program for professional teachers/educators to work with an American family household as a live-in childcare provider, in which she took care of three children.
Dayane is a trained Newborn Care Specialist through Newborn Care Solutions and Postpartum Doula through Pro Doula. She also pursued Baby First Aid/ CPR/AED at American Red Cross, Basic Life Support at American Heart Association and she is a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Her main focus is to support families and educate parents with evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional support, parent-baby bonding, infant soothing and sleep conditioning following American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
Dayane is going to Nursing School and she aspires to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
