Empowering families through anxiety, fear, and past birth traumas with love, support, and education is my daily mantra. I would describe myself as down-to-earth, easy to talk to, intuitive, and highly adaptable. I am well versed in the natural healing arts such as massage therapy, aromatherapy, prayer, and herbs.
I found my calling into birth work when I experienced the impact of a powerful support team through two natural births, a dry and a water birth, at a South Florida birthing center. There I found freedom through informed choices and care support that I trusted. I hope to pass on the encouragement and knowledge to new moms as well as mothers who are well versed.
Before becoming a doula, I worked with children and families for over 15 years in South Florida’s Public School system which was a great precursor to working with birthing families. I also have been serving at my local church for the past 9 years through numerous community events. I have been a massage therapist since 2015. These experiences have taught me that no two family units are alike and to treat each family and each member within as such. Using what life has brought me through, I hope to care for families from not only a compassionate but also a holistic model of care.
